Former Japanese Prime Minister Visited GZU
On Dec. 21, 2009, Mr.HataTsutomu, former Japanese Prime Minister, headed a delegation of 19 (including his wife and other officials from Japanese House of Representatives) for a visit to GZU.

During the visit, Mr.HataTsutomu was conferred the title of “Honorary Professor of GZU”. Mr.FengXiaolun, Vice President of GZU chaired the ceremony. President ChenShupingread the announcement and sang high praise for Mr.HataTsutomu for his important role in promoting Sino-Japanese friendship. Ms. LongChaoyunawarded him the certificate, and student representatives presented him flowers and GZU badge.
Mr.HataTsutomu accepted the title with great pleasure. He, together with Ms. LongChaoyununveiled the nameplate of GZU Japanese Research Institution. Mr.HataTsutomu presented the Institution a board with his own inscriptions of “温故创新” on it. Mr.Takamuratsuto, an official from Japanese House of Representatives, delivered a speech. The visit ended with group photos and reception dinner.
